The host was super friendly and very attentive, the breakfast was beautifully presented, the pension was very clean with quality furnishings, but it was overly decorated, cramped for personal items, especially the bathroom lacked storage, the room was harmonious but too dark for my taste, and the reading light in bed was insufficient.

Pension Sophie is a hidden gem; its quiet forest setting near a lake, the lovingly decorated rooms, the very friendly hosts, and the high‑quality breakfast leave no room for complaints. Everything is tastefully arranged and you feel the love for detail; we felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the pension and gladly return. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The location between Berlin and Hamburg was ideal for us coming from southeast Germany heading back to Denmark. At the end of the road there’s a cozy lake with a small ferry to an island where you can eat, making for a super pleasant evening walk. We also drove to Olafs Werkstatte, which was a short trip away and definitely worth visiting. Great food and good vibes. Breakfast was excellent; we had to pay a little for drinks, but everything else was included in the reasonable price. The room was on the first floor with a balcony. Everything was clean and nice, the room was a good size, and the bathroom had everything it needed. The pleasant décor made us feel at home and comfortable.
