Volcano Vacation Rooms

“A mediocre stay.”

The rooms were huge—larger than most apartments—and the price was incredibly low, plus breakfast was generous. However, the host didn’t speak English, and when I arrived I was told there was no room even though I had a confirmed booking; the owner cancelled my reservation after I stayed and tried to dispute the price. Cleaning was only superficial with a lot of dust, the room was barebones with no furniture, there was no hot water, the bathroom was very basic, the property had no proper road access, and neighbours played loud music late into the night.

The house and shared spaces were tidy and nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small and there was no mosquito net, plus the Wi‑Fi reception inside the room was poor.

I appreciated the availability and friendliness of the female staff—always present and very helpful. The location was a bit away from the city centre, which helped with quietness but wasn’t too far from conveniences. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with good responses and assistance; Cecilia was a charming member of the staff. The road to the house is rocky and steep.

The place is nice, quiet, and comfortable, but there was no Netflix.
