The renovated castle sits in a very beautiful and quiet spot, the room is spacious and accessible with an elevator from the reception, and parking is only 50 m from the building’s door; the breakfast is acceptable but a bit limited in variety.

The room and view were just amazing, the food and beer were good, the place was very quiet, and it had everything I wanted from a castle stay.

The view is insane and the castle feeling is real; the house is not over‑renovated—nothing is broken, nothing rattles or is scratched, everything is clean, but nothing is replaced with new stuff if it’s still fine, which makes it very authentic.

The view from the terrace while dining was fantastic, and the castle wine paired wonderfully with our meal. The rooms and the castle were furnished in a feudal style, exactly what we had hoped for, so we’ll definitely return. On the downside, a gust of wind sent our card game into the abyss; we were cycling when an LKW overtook us just before the entrance and then blocked the path, which made the steep climb feel less amusing.
