Pousada Refugio Paradisíaco 1

I booked the place for a few staff members and they all raved about how clean and comfortable everything was, plus the hosts were friendly and helpful when I arrived. The only thing that bugged me was how quickly the days flew by—I wish we could have stayed longer.

“Barato,mas um pouco frustrante”

The location itself was pleasant, but the room we got was anything but ready—there was no cleaning, the bathroom was clogged, and we had to scrub everything ourselves. After a week the owner told us she never does any housekeeping, so we were left to manage all the cleaning on our own. The price is low, but you really shouldn't call this a “pousada” when you have to do all the work yourself.

“Preço atrativo, porém com taxas por fora não informadas”

The room looked exactly like the photos, the staff were courteous, and having a kitchen to use was a big plus; the location was also fine for getting around. However, we were surprised to learn there was a R$10 daily fee for the pool that wasn’t mentioned up front, and a R$120 pet surcharge appeared only after we’d already paid a non‑refundable rate. The advertised fridge turned out to be a shared unit outside, not in the room, which added to the feeling of hidden costs.

“Gostei bastante retornarei outras vezes”

The place feels really cozy, perfect for a short stay or just a quiet night. Nothing else to complain about, it’s just a comfortable little space.

“Custo benefício bom”

The room was spotless and the hosts, who live right below, were always quick to help whenever we needed something. Sharing the fridge and kitchen tools in the common area got a bit messy, and the pool costs extra per person even though it was mentioned in the description. Parking was a hassle too, so I left the car on the street to avoid blocking the two narrow spots.
