The spot’s location, breakfast, and price were the highlights for me. The place is unbeatable for me, offering a basic breakfast, but for an extra $1.50 you can choose from several options, all of which were really good. The rooms were also very clean, the bed linen was great, although my bed made noise when I moved. The bar‑restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. The downside is definitely the noise from the bar‑restaurant that stays open at night; when I booked they warned that there’s noise on weekends until 1:00 am and on weekdays until 11 pm. I usually sleep late and thought it wouldn’t be a problem, but until all the bar staff leave it must have been 1 h 30, then the staff stay fixing and cleaning until 2 h 30‑3 h 00 and also make noise (the rooms are literally on top of the bar, so everything is heard). In short, if you’re a young person I don’t think it’s a problem because you can go down to the bar and enjoy it, which by the way has a good vibe.

“Good location but extremely loud”

The location was great, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were very nice. However, this isn’t a place to stay if you want a quiet night (or rather an ear‑splitting experience for hours). We only learned after booking that they have a restaurant and bar with music playing until late night. This should have been clearly stated in the description before booking. We ended up with a live band playing right underneath our room – the floors vibrated from the sound and it was impossible to hear each other inside. The rooms are basically in the restaurant/bar itself, so any noise outside is in the room. The loud music played past 11 pm with loud guests in the restaurant until after midnight.

The receptionists were very friendly, the hostel was super pretty and well maintained. The location was perfect. I would definitely go back!

The location was great. There was a bad smell coming from the bathrooms, coming from the tap and shower.

“Bella struttura in Cuenca!”

The colonial structure is full of beautiful plants, the rooms are clean and welcoming, the breakfast is varied and the restaurant is available. Beware: the hostel has music until late and it can be heard in the rooms.
