I absolutely loved the architecture! My compliments! Every room felt very private, and the attention to every design detail was impeccable. I enjoyed being surrounded by greenery.

Staying at Básico Pixoy turned out to be a real treat, with staff who were warm and attentive, taking care of every little detail. The building’s design and décor strike a perfect mix of simplicity, elegance and local charm, the beds feel incredibly comfortable, the place is dead quiet, and its spot right off the Calzada de los Frailes lets you wander around Valladolid easily while still feeling removed enough for peace, offering a private haven when you get back. It’s a true gem that’s absolutely worth checking out.

The architecture is stunning, full of shadows and secluded corners, and I also got to support the foundation’s work for indigenous artisans. We loved the tasty breakfast included and the excellent afternoon lounge service. The rooms offered complete privacy, the warm pool was delightful, and the Spa’s Japanese-style pool was relaxing. The craft shop felt like a tour of the whole country, and walking the Convento was a wonderful stroll through the real town. A truly enriching trip—I’ll be back soon!
