The old house had a charming New England vibe and the on‑site breakfast, bar, and sitting rooms were lovely, especially since many locals frequented the coffee shop. However, the room at the back looked out onto a small lawn and parking lot, which felt inconvenient and uncharismatic, almost like an add‑on to the main house. It was cramped, and check‑in was odd—there was a random table and the hostess was missing.

The location was ideal for visiting Salisbury School and the in‑house restaurant was excellent for a group of three. The only issues were the absence of a hair dryer and slightly slippery soap.
