Everything was fine, especially the hosts who were very helpful and accommodating, giving us beach towels and umbrellas, etc.; they couldn’t be faulted.

Bernie and Maryrose gave a delightful welcome, and the breakfast was top quality.

Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful with suggestions. The location was perfect, but the bathroom was outside the room.

The place is amazing! MariRose and Bernie have turned it into a wonderful oasis. The building itself is gorgeous, and I love the furniture, rugs, and the quality of the sheets—every detail shows care. Even the dishes used for the delicious breakfast were nice. I’m not into “antiquing,” but I appreciate comfort, high shelves, and pampering when I get away from home; the Inn at the Oaks delivers on all of that. We stayed in the Captain's room, which was such a relaxing experience. The hosts asked if we needed anything else, and I couldn’t think of anything because it was so perfect. I’m saving this place for future travels—it was a dream! If you’re new to Cape Town and coming for the first time, this is the best location.
