Breakfast was well cooked and kept me going through the day. Plenty of choice. The location is fantastic, just a short walk into Ambleside and also regular buses go past the door to major Lake District Centres. It was lovely to see happy dogs welcomed at the property

The owner was super friendly and the breakfast was great, but the traffic outside was annoying—though that’s not the guest house’s fault.

Everything was comfy, clean, and tidy, and the host was fantastic; the breakfast was fabulous, showers were good, and the facilities were excellent. We got a free parking permit for plenty of spots nearby, and dogs were welcome. The location was close to local amenities yet quiet, which was perfect for our dog that barks at anything. The bed was so comfy, a real bonus.
