Highly recommended; the room was well decorated and clean, but the pillows were too high.

A lovely property and location; I would have loved to stay here longer. Next time!

On our way south we unexpectedly found ourselves at Hotel Cañón del Duratón— or rather, in paradise? The drive alone was worth it, but once we arrived we could hardly believe our eyes. The traditional accommodation was stunning, set in a small, charming, and especially peaceful village amid nature. Both the rooms and the entire hotel were super clean; we rarely encounter a place so tidy and well maintained. There is ample parking. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and no question feels too big. The menu isn’t huge, but it offers plenty of fresh, delicious options. We will definitely return! We have nothing negative to add; this unexpected find made our trip truly special. A must‑visit for anyone seeking peace, nature, hospitality, and an authentic place to stay.

I was up and out for breakfast because I had to catch a ferry, so I left at 07:15 and saw two huge deer right in front of my car. I was driving slowly, which helped, but you should be careful around that spot. The calmness of the place was a real relief.

The hosts were very pleasant, and the hotel is fantastic in the middle of the pampas.
