“A nice room by the canal, quiet but central”
I stayed in a very nice room by the canal, a short walk with luggage through the centre of town even though it was a bit away from the railway station. The location was great for getting around, near the central Markt but still quiet—I could leave the window slightly open at night. I liked sitting on the bench outside when I needed a break from walking around town. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine and spacious. It would be good to have the option to store luggage a little while after checkout, but I understand that might be difficult given the lodging’s circumstances. I wanted to visit the very fine church (closed on the day I arrived), and found a convenient solution— I could store my luggage in the reception area of the church during my visit.
