We never received breakfast; the water in the fridge was taken by other guests, and we never met the owner.

The surrounding nature and cats were nice, but Lorcan was the most rude person I've ever met; his “nazi” attitude was unforgettable, shocking, and totally unacceptable for a host. He knocked on my door twice after I paid the maximum rate for the first stay, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. The shower was uncomfortable, the Wi‑Fi was a disaster with no network, there were four single beds with short synthetic blankets, no king‑size bed in a room he called a “king‑size deluxe suite,” three electric plugs all in wrong places, and children under the window made noise every afternoon. When I played Mozart at a moderate volume to cover the noise and focus on my work, he appeared at the door with a rude, warlike attitude, threatening me with a €350 fine or to leave after one hour because I was smoking a cigarette outside the window while trying to get a Wi‑Fi connection. The lady eventually let me stay, but I was so shocked and traumatized by that beastly person that I left immediately, losing the €30 I had paid. I’m proud of this experience because it made me realize what a nazist is. I’m sure the police will investigate him deeply. Again, unbelievably rude, racist, and nazist overall, as clearly evident by the deep hatred in his eyes. Be careful, especially if it’s your first time in Slovakia; it will probably make you never want to come back.

The hosts were very kind people. They accommodated us without any trouble even though we arrived a bit early outside the check‑in window set by the booking. We used the grill in the lodging area both evenings. For our stay, since we had planned cycling and hiking, this place was a great choice. It was a spontaneous idea to take a long weekend trip somewhere. Almost all accommodations in the area were already booked, and we happened to find this one so wonderfully. It’s in a quiet, natural setting. Banská Štiavnica is within reach. Thanks for a pleasant time.
