The place was a complete fake; horrible. We tried to rent a lodge in another location, terrible, with lying people. We booked with beautiful photos but arrived to find no conditions, no hygiene, no structure. I didn’t like anything; it was a disappointment, never again. I want a full refund, I was cheated, had expenses, it was a huge disappointment.

The house was cozy and right next to Praia Cepilho, and the village itself was clean with good, affordable restaurants. The first thing that caught me off guard was the mess outside the Casa do Cepilho – piles of debris and construction waste made a rough first impression. Inside, though, everything was tidy and the caretaker was super helpful. All in all, a solid 10.

Jorge was incredibly helpful and friendly, but a few items that were listed in the ad were missing. Still, his assistance made up for the oversight.

Loved the place – the sea view was gorgeous, the nights were quiet with a cool breeze that made sleeping a breeze. Jorge welcomed us warmly and gave great tips, a real gem of a person. The downside was the cleaning – had to scrub the room, bathroom, and microwave because they were pretty dirty. A little more attention there would make it perfect.

Sr. Jorge was polite, attentive, and honest, doing everything he could to make us comfortable. He deserves a perfect score.
