A simple stay at a very good spot right on the beach, next to the upscale Amarela resort; the beach is nicer than places like Alona or other busy nearby beaches. The staff were nice and friendly, and we didn’t encounter any mosquitoes even in the evening. Minor issues: water flow was low, wifi was poor – even our SMART SIM had a choppy signal – and be prepared to pay extra for add‑ons such as pillows.

The view was fantastic and the receptionist worked hard, even preparing an early breakfast as a lunch box for us, while the grounds were impeccably maintained. However, we were hit with hefty conversion fees we never agreed to, and despite our immediate protest and further attempts, the hotel refused to charge the booked amount in PHP on our credit card as requested. They only gave us two small bottles of water for two days for four people, and at breakfast you could get either coffee or juice—if you wanted both you had to pay extra.

The location, the rooms and especially the kind and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable! We had a total of 4 rooms and we were all happy with the rooms. We had an oceanview room and it was great. Most of the time, we were in the ocean swimming or walking the beautiful white sand beaches. The staff were amazing. Jess and especially Marielle went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Would highly recommend this resort and I know we will be back!! We miss it already!! ❤️❤️❤️. There was nothing not to like!
