The property is beautiful, the design is lovely, the pool is relaxing, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The service, however, falls short of five‑star standards: there is almost no pool or room service, the staff are not very proactive, and the wine selection and quality were disappointing—an unfortunate contrast to the outstanding property itself.

The buildings and rooms are very pretty. The noise from building machinery and many workers on site, even right in front of our room, was loud, and the beach was closed because of seaweed, which made the whole hotel smell; the hotel never mentioned or apologized for this.

The property is nice and the staff are friendly, but the front‑office lady at check‑in was not helpful. We asked for an early check‑in and had to wait until 3:10 after the official check‑in time before we could even enter the room.

The property is gorgeous and secluded, yet the staff were very nice when we could locate them. We stayed during the slow season and felt we were constantly searching for someone to assist us.
