Everything matched the pictures, cozy and special. A wonderful experience and a great break from everyday life. Great location and a starting point for the surrounding Havel region. Will definitely return!

We were completely thrilled from cleanliness and staff to the surroundings – everything pleased us. A fantastic weekend.

The accommodation was intolerable, very bad, and there was no secure access to the property.

The boat had a cozy vibe and had everything you need for breakfast. Cooking there isn’t recommended. The location is fairly central with a nice walk to the city center along the water and over bridges. Initially, getting onto the boat from the dock was quite an adventure – you had to climb and be flexible; a ramp or something would help. The dock access isn’t very reassuring either. You pee into a plastic bag on the toilet that you have to dispose of yourself – not a great solution. When you lie in the bed, exposed cables stick out of the panel – that’s unacceptable. The campsite the boat is attached to (where the sanitary facilities are used) is unfortunately not nice and feels rather poorly designed.

The campsite where Das Boot is located was easy to find, and the on‑site toilets were clean and well‑maintained, with fresh towels and freshly laundered sheets provided. However, the boat itself felt neglected and lacked care; the photos used for advertising were completely misleading. We stayed at a different berth than pictured, missing the charming crane view and the wall, and the onboard bathroom was a mess, with old crusted toothpaste in the glass, and the upholstered furniture was covered in blankets on the pictures. No plants were present on board, not even the olive trees shown. The stove was crusty and greasy, the sleeping compartment looked like a rough construction site with foam, putty, paint splashes, drill holes and exposed cables. The skylight was unsealed and could not be opened for ventilation at night unless you tore it off entirely. Greywater from washing and urine was dumped into open water outside. The onboard toilet was very unconventional; even though we’re used to camping, it was a unique experience that the toilet drained into open water outside, and the toilet paper had to be disposed of by ourselves at checkout (information only sent in an email after booking). For paying a hotel‑rate of about €133 per night, it was not worth it. Overall, I would not return; the boat had potential but needed more care and affection.
