Breakfast was good, no buffet, which we liked; it would have been nice to ask the night before what people wanted for breakfast so food waste could be minimized, but they only partially met our request for sausage; the construction site outside the house was beyond the operator’s control, and we felt the house was somewhat gloomy, especially given the weather, which is also out of the operator’s hands.

A very nice little country hotel with a superb restaurant in a country setting; the food was tasty and plentiful, the location near Fichtelsee was great, and room 6 with an infrared sauna is highly recommended; the service was very friendly; the only issue was the bathroom mirror being too high or me being too short.

We can definitely recommend this small country hotel ❤️ Friendly hosts, clean rooms, and the food was super tasty. Especially the Western‑style restaurant really impressed us. Thanks to the whole team ❤️ Nothing to criticize!
