Near the market and a 20‑minute walk from the beach, it was just right for a few days. The cleaning was awful: when I arrived, a pile of used paper towels, other trash, and dust bunnies were under the bed. After I complained, they fixed it, but it still didn't feel fresh.

The mattress was comfortable, yet they placed us in a different, smaller room that only faced a wall a metre from the window; they refused to move us into the room I had paid for, claiming “no vacancy,” even though my reservation was confirmed and someone else was put in my room. It seems they overbook the rooms with garden views and assign whatever is left unless you push for yours. I booked for two weeks but left the next day. They also balked at refunding me until I threatened to call the tourist police, and the price was far too high for this “hotel.”
