It was a comfortable, value‑for‑money hotel in a central spot within walking distance of shopping centres and entertainment venues, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The shower, however, shows its age and needs a thorough cleaning of the grout and sealant.

I booked a deluxe room but ended up with a standard one; the balcony door lacked locks from the inside, so I marked it as not for repair. At night we returned and one lock was fixed while the other stayed as it was. When I asked staff to inspect, they entered the room but refused to film the open door with me, yet later they upgraded me to the deluxe room I had originally paid for.

The hotel was great overall, though the TV picture was unclear and the receptionist took a while to fix it, but that didn't bother me; the staff were very friendly, the place was safe and clean.
