“Delightful getaway on the Ring of Kerry with extremely hospitable hostess.”

Melissa greeted us warmly from the moment we arrived and was super sweet and friendly. We were given a very pretty, well‑appointed room that looked freshly remodeled; the colors and fabrics were calming and tasteful. As someone who is picky about cleanliness, this place met my standards. Melissa cooked made‑to‑order eggs and her assistant made made‑to‑order Americanos, lattes, and the like. There were tasty croissants, soda bread, and an Irish breakfast spread with beans, rashers, mushrooms, and sausages—perfect for a weekend getaway without the kids. The hot tub was a real highlight; we spent our first evening there under a sky full of stars, even spotting the Milky Way. We didn’t know this part of South Kerry was a Dark Sky Reserve. They also gave us super soft white bath robes for the outdoor tub, showing they thought of everything. The only small gripe was that the weather was getting colder during our stay, so I wished the hot tub water was a degree or two warmer; it didn’t heat me up as much as I’d hoped, but we still enjoyed it.

“Wonderful place , owners could not have been more welcoming, highly recommend”

The location is excellent and the scenery is beautiful. The room was spacious and spotless. The garden hot tub was a lovely treat. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The sitting room was a nice place to unwind in the evening. Nothing negative.
