“Worse motel ever”

I appreciated the plenty of hot water; that was the only good thing about the room. I had a hard time closing the hotel door, the whirlpool wasn’t working, and the room was disgusting—so dirty you could see an imprint of someone’s butt on the mirror around the bath. The carpet hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in ages. The walls were paper‑thin; you could hear neighbors talking, the TV, etc. Occupants from a room a few doors down complained about their room and argued with management for a refund. We could hear their raised voices from the office. Shortly after, the police showed up—crazy. The neighbor beside us mentioned that two nights before our arrival another couple had a room issue and that there were four police cars—wow, not good.

“Très passable”

The bed was comfortable. The front door had been forced open; security was minimal. We placed the chairs against the door. Hygiene was lacking—spider webs, dirty floor, and wall. The bathroom sliding door was torn from the wall. There was a cold cigarette smell. The room wasn’t ventilated. The neighborhood was noisy. A very drunk man approached me; I kept my composure but felt uneasy. The exterior access was difficult; the staircase was blocked by a parked car. I regret choosing this place and what it cost me.

The jacuzzi didn’t work; it wouldn’t fill, there was a leak. The fireplace was non‑functional and the bulbs were missing.
