“Entorno agradable, pero la casa necesita bastante mantenimiento”
What we liked most was the host’s willingness to help, always friendly and responsive whenever we mentioned an issue, trying to fix it within her means. We also praised the peaceful, pleasant surroundings that let us enjoy nature and unwind. The house has great potential because of its location and outdoor space. However, our experience was quite disappointing, especially since we stayed a week and the house advertises for 6‑8 people. The main problem was the overall maintenance. The garden and exterior were quite neglected: weeds in several areas, an untrimmed pear tree with unpicked pears at the entrance (though we told the owner and she removed them). Ivy and a shrub in the dining area grew unchecked, and there were weeds on the side of the house. The garden gate, lantern, and balcony had rust. Inside we found many issues: the house was very dark, especially the ground floor and the largest bedroom, due to small windows, and artificial lighting was insufficient. The rooms had no curtains and blinds let morning light in. The living room glass was cracked and we saw spider webs and dirt upon entry. Additionally, there were decorative vases in the dining room with a lot of dust, and a broken shelf with visible splinters. The equipment and utensils were insufficient for a house advertised for 6‑8 people: on the terrace there were only 5 chairs and missing cutlery, cups, and glasses. The pans and pots were old and quite worn. The owner gave us a new wok pan when we mentioned it, but that didn’t solve the lack of adequate everyday utensils. We also found several furniture problems: the sofas were broken and dirty, the headboards fell back, and the sofa bed was broken. In the largest bedroom, which three of us used, the only wardrobe was too small and there wasn’t enough space to store suitcase clothes during a weeklong stay.
