Podere Casanuova, a historic farmstead in San Gimignano, offers garden and mountain vistas from a restored building. Guests enjoy a heated pool overlooking the landscape, sun terrace, lush garden, and free Wi‑Fi. Amenities include electric‑vehicle charging, outdoor picnic area, family rooms, bicycle parking, and barbecue. Rooms feature air‑conditioning, private baths, kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, and complimentary parking.

The location is among hills with vineyards and olive trees, overlooking San Gimignano. The apartment is comfortable and equipped with everything needed. The bedroom has air‑conditioning. The pool is ideal and very clean. The surroundings are a beautifully maintained garden, thanks to the very friendly Don Carlo who tended the lawn, shrubs, roses and other flowers every day. We’re here for the third time and the stay is always very successful. The rough gravel road from the main road to the property isn’t suitable for sports cars, so a higher suspension is probably necessary… maybe a welcome Vernaccia di San Gimignano or local olive oil? … otherwise it’s perfect.

A beautiful, secluded and quiet spot with a clean pool; the apartment was spotless and fully equipped with all the cookware you could need. The seating areas offer stunning views over the Tuscan hills, great Wi‑Fi and working air‑conditioning—hard to top that. The drive up is a bit of a challenge for anyone without an off‑road vehicle; the path is hard to locate and a car with a normal ground clearance can get stuck, so definitely not recommended for a sports car.

The place is in a great spot with a fantastic pool and lovely rooms. However, the link the owners gave to Google Maps always leads you astray, and the long stone trail to the property isn’t suitable for a small rental car.

The location, the calm surroundings and the view are all great. The downside is that if you stay on the first floor you have to share the terrace with a neighbour.
