We were right by the sea, which was amazing. The spa massage was incredible, and the breakfast was so good. We only stayed for one night, but I'd definitely come back - it was a great experience.

This resort is a total gem! I've been to Kannur multiple times, but my stay at Asokam was a first and it totally blew me away. The standard room with a fan was a great choice - the sea breeze made it feel really cool, and the mosquito nets on the windows were a nice touch. I loved the verandah area where I could chill out, and the open lawn space was perfect for relaxation. Plus, having direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach was a major bonus - it's amazing for morning walks.

The beach-facing view was great, but that was about it. The front desk staff seemed a bit arrogant and not very customer-friendly. We had to call them every time we needed hot water for a shower, which was a bit of a hassle. The food took ages to arrive - even a simple fried rice dish took an hour. And to top it off, the pool wasn't very clean.

The location of this place is really something special. However, I have to say that the property itself feels pretty old. Not sure if it's been renovated recently, but it could use a bit of an update. Still, if you're looking for a convenient spot, it might be worth considering.

The location of this place is really convenient, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the rooms were. That being said, the food options were pretty limited - the breakfast spread was basically nonexistent, and the quality of the food wasn't great. Maybe they were just having an off day, but I was a bit disappointed.
