The rustic hotel and restaurant sit right on a bend of the Allier river, the staff were friendly and helpful with constant smiles, the outdoor dining area overlooked the river and the food was fresh and tasty, but an A/C unit would have made the stay perfect—fans were the only option.

The reception was flawless, with extreme kindness, everyone smiling and attentive to our menu wishes—fantastic! but turning down the radiator in our room would have been a good idea…!!!

The location is perfect, the village is very peaceful and pretty with plenty to explore, and the owner and the whole team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, with nothing to complain about.
