The welcome and the futons were incredibly comfortable. The house is very pretty and has everything you need. Because a rainstorm hit us, we had to leave early on the second night to avoid being stuck in Aizuwakamatsu, so we couldn't fully enjoy the stay. I would have liked a small token of compensation, though I understand it wasn’t their fault. Still, they were very kind.

I was nervous staying in this style for the first time, but the entire second floor was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The friendly owner was also on the first floor, which was reassuring. The toilet and shower were separate. There were two bedrooms, a TV room, and a large living area. All the kitchen basics—stove, fridge, dishes, and plastic wrap—were provided. The location was convenient, close to a supermarket and restaurants. The hot spring was reachable by car and was relaxing. The futons and mattress were plush, so I slept well. The pajamas and toothbrush that came with toothpaste were handy, and since I brought my own toothpaste for the next day, I had no trouble. There were no major negatives, but having a FabricSoft-like product would be useful.

The welcome email included tips on excursions, restaurants, and shopping. The owner greeted us very warmly. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and spacious, and we felt very at ease. The only downside was that to reach the toilet you had to leave the apartment, but since it was just a step and the whole floor was ours, it didn’t lower the overall rating.
