It is close to Shinjuku station but the neighborhood feels a bit dodgy. We saw cockroaches in the room. The staff offered no solution except spraying the room, which is unhealthy. The building is very old and the bathroom is tiny. The bedding was also quite old.

I love the location, the balcony, and the space. The bathroom had a slight odor, but otherwise everything was great.

Walking to the Godzilla head took only 2 minutes, and 711, Family Mart, and Lawson were all nearby. The room was a bit small and lacked a TV, but with Wi‑Fi I didn’t miss it.

The location and the friendly staff were great. The building isn’t pretty, but it’s honest about that. Price and quality are reasonable.
