“Another wonderful stay at Anthony 47!”
When we go to Rome we always stay at Anthony 47. We’ve been there five or six times now, and each time we have the same great experience! It’s in a quiet spot, just a few minutes’ walk from Termini in a safe neighbourhood. A big grocery store, plenty of bars and restaurants are close by. The rooms are nice and the whole place is very clean. Beds are very comfy and the pillows are great. There’s a shared kitchen for all guests, and a large fridge with a shelf just for your room. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you’d need to cook, plus sugar, salt, etc. A coffee machine with pods is available, and you can use a moka pot to make your own coffee. The standard rooms are a good size for a night or two, but I’d recommend the junior suite if you want a bit more space (the bathroom and bedroom are separated by a small hallway/closet area). There’s also a separate hall bathroom for all guests to use if your room’s bathroom is occupied. This was the first time we used the self‑check‑in and it was super easy and efficient. The staff here is very attentive and replies to messages very quickly. I would highly recommend a stay here! If there are many other people staying, it can sometimes get a bit noisy. The hallway is very echoey, and the walls aren’t sound‑proof. This has never really been a big deal for us… Also, while it’s definitely workable and clean, the bathroom vanity in the junior suite shows some wear and tear—it could use an update to keep up with the rest of the hotel. Again, this isn’t a huge issue, but we’ve noticed this decline after staying a few times over the past few years.
