The central location is very convenient from the airport to the pier, and it’s close to markets and temples.

The staff were friendly, the front desk spoke English, service was good, free water was included, the bed was comfortable, there was a fan, and the staff were helpful. That was all I needed; nothing fancy. They assisted with my luggage and even called someone for me. The lack of an elevator is a downside—be careful if you have a lot of luggage, as I had to climb five floors with heavy bags. Pack light. I also didn’t like the odd smell outside my room; it was stinky.

The room was large, clean, and the hostel was well‑located. It was quiet while we were there. The value for money is very good. I would have liked a hot shower, but there is no hot water here. The bed was very firm and the mattress made noise. There is a blanket instead of a sheet, but a sheet would have been more hygienic.

The spot is perfect for nightlife, close to the river, markets and temples, but the bed is hard. The 1800s‑style doors and locks offer no real security, and the mattress doesn’t cushion the firmness of the bed—feels like sleeping on a wooden beam.
