A room that’s absolutely gorgeous, just a short stroll from the piazza in front of the Cathedral and a few steps from the Via Francigena, with staff who are kind and helpful and a breakfast spread that’s really well arranged.

Everything about the B&B is taken care of in every detail. The renovation is tasteful and high‑quality. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The bathroom and shower are very nice. The place is spotless. There’s a mini‑fridge in the room with water. Breakfast is plentiful. Communication is quick and absolutely fantastic, thanks a lot!

The entrance to the accommodation is on the right side of the street (one‑way). It’s marked only by a small sign on the building wall. On either side of the entrance there are two little trees in large flower pots. There’s a bell at the entrance. Next to the main entrance there’s also a large gate. The host, Martina, is very friendly and helpful. English communication works pretty well. And the breakfast is superb! The room and bathroom are very modern and have a special charm thanks to the old‑building style. From the room you can step out onto the beautiful courtyard on the ground floor, where there’s also a small clothes‑drying rack.

We had a wonderful stay. Martine was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, going to great lengths to look after us and patiently helping with what must have seemed like our never‑ending requests! Her knowledge of the area and recommendations for places to eat and visit were invaluable, and her personal touches made two weary walkers feel thoroughly spoiled. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed, with a convenient location close to restaurants. Above all, it was the warmth of her welcome and the care she showed us that made our stay so memorable. We would happily stay again.
