The location is wonderful, the little swimming pond is lovely, the food is excellent, and the staff are super friendly. There’s nothing to criticize, absolutely nothing.

I stayed at a beautiful spot with helpful staff, and we could order a very tasty and generous dinner; breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was excellent. The sauna on the wellness side was great, and the garden pool was gorgeous 😅🥰 I’ll definitely come back, though the sauna only opens in the afternoon.

We had fantastic days at this Naturhotel, truly a fairy‑tale place. The hotel sits in a quiet valley surrounded by towering pine‑covered mountains, offering breathtaking views and a picturesque setting. The highlight was the outdoor spring‑season bathing—swimming in crystal‑clear water while watching the peaks was unforgettable. Mornings were incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for full relaxation. It was a delight that the place is pet‑friendly, with horses and chickens adding a cozy, natural vibe. The staff welcomed us in traditional Bavarian national dress and were all exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. A major plus is that, despite the peaceful retreat, all major sights in Berchtesgaden are within 10 km, making day trips convenient. I wholeheartedly recommend it and we’ll definitely return. Unfortunately, our stay was slightly marred by being assigned a smoking room; smoke drifted from the neighboring balcony all day, preventing us from fully enjoying our own balcony. Additionally, the bed’s mattress was overly soft, making restful sleep difficult. A suggestion: the hotel could provide bicycles for guests to explore the area.
