The location was great, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and the facilities were nice. The WiFi was spotty at times and there were mosquitoes on the property, but when we let the staff know they supplied something to deal with them.

The staff made every day look good, but the breakfast could use more variety in the toppings.

The place is in a great spot; Kamala feels nicer than Patong. The pools are great and you can park right below the building. The staff are very attentive and try hard to make the stay pleasant, which I really appreciate. The room is excellent, and having a balcony is awesome! If we come back, we’ll almost certainly book again at Citygate. The only thing we missed was towel racks in the bathroom.

The location, cleanliness, service, staff and the gorgeous pools were all great; breakfast was a bit limited—there could have been more items on the buffet—but the extensive à‑la‑carte menu helped make up for it, and there were no real drawbacks.

The reception staff were not professional.
