A fantastic personalized stay. Manuela did an excellent job. Nothing else.
The location, the view of the pool on the Douro, very beautiful. Very good bedding, spacious room and bed, quiet. Very warm welcome from the owner. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with homemade products of very good quality; we really enjoyed our day’s stay. Nothing to add.

Manuela and her assistant are wonderful hosts, caring lovingly for guests. Dinner was delicious and filling, breakfast was good and they can make fresh eggs on request. The location is unique, overlooking the valley and a small lake (river). Great. The pool is pretty appealing, plus there’s a small sauna and a compact gym. Highly recommended.

The spot offers a stunning view, but the bathroom smelled like sewer, so we asked for a different room and ended up sleeping with the window open. Breakfast started at 9 am, which felt a bit late, and the portions were small with limited options.
