The room was clean, but I felt the hotel urgently needs an external revitalization because it looks abandoned, even though the interior is well organized. The reception interacted well with guests by providing basic information about Itatiaia; for example, when asked for a lunch spot, they only suggested Penedo, as if Itatiaia is that rudimentary. So we had to find a place ourselves and managed to get one before heading up to the park, the R. Gaucho da Serra, which was wonderful.
