The property is tucked in the jungle, about 40–45 minutes from Ella center; if you want peace, this is it, and the guys running it are very friendly. The Wi‑Fi isn't great, but that makes it a nice excuse to disconnect and soak up nature for a few days.

I loved the space – it’s huge and airy, and the host is absolutely amazing! Such a beautiful spot in nature. The Wi‑Fi didn't work, but that never bothered me.

First off, it’s a gorgeous spot. I chose it after reading Google Maps reviews while driving from Yala to Ella the day before I arrived. This is Ella Ravan Cottage. It’s a place where you can stay free in the forest. Their food is great, prepared in a mud house. I felt like I’d stepped into a new world. The service is excellent. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but I’ve never found a place like this. I stumbled upon it by chance. If you’re heading to Ella, go there. If you want freedom, I suggest it. The rooms, breakfast, dinner, bathroom are all great. Everything is good for the price. Thank you, Ella Ravan Cottage.
