This is a well cared for homestay. The owner is as friendly as they come, and a wonderfully cheery and attentive fellow. It would have been a pleasure to stay longer

The interior looks nice, the service is good, and the bed was satisfactory for the price. Only the bath was an issue: the tub wasn’t usable, a simple, care‑taker‑style tub was placed inside the bath, and although it seemed clean, I couldn’t feel like taking a bath.

The place was spotless, the room felt cozy, the host was welcoming and, importantly, a writer. If anyone wants to visit Hokkaido, this is a great choice for a stay.
