The topic was very good. The room we stayed in did not match the photos shown on Booking; the window had a small HVAC unit attached, a pipe was pushed out of the window so it couldn't open, it was very small and stuffy. There was no four‑person wardrobe to store our items, only a tiny wooden one.

I met a bunch of fellow travelers at this hostel and the vibe was super welcoming, plus the owner runs a city tour that was perfect for any Game of Thrones fan.

The spot is great, you feel the staff trying to make you comfortable, and there's air‑conditioning in the room. From the start the stay went wrong: I was told to leave my luggage at reception, but I couldn’t understand that it was the kind of space that acts as a “kitchen” and isn’t secure (anyone can grab the bags). When I returned for check‑in, the lady didn’t know what to do, it was very cumbersome. When I saw my room I immediately wanted to find another place. It was shabby (walls crumbling with holes), smelled awful, wasn’t secure and anyone could get in if they wanted. The beds were terrible: dusty sheets, no curtains, no shelf to put things on and only one outlet per bed. You have to choose between plugging in your phone or your lamp, if you’re lucky enough to have one! On top of that they creak with every movement, and you have to hunt for a duvet if you’re cold because they’re not provided. There are no lockers in the room, so you leave your suitcase exposed to everyone. The AC is noisy, drips on the floor, and sits in front of the windows, blocking ventilation. There are few coat hooks, and when the toilet paper runs out you have to go to the hallway to get more because there isn’t any in the bathroom itself. Wi‑Fi is bad, and the lack of a rule set made the stay even more painful. Most hostels enforce a quiet time from 22:00 to 09:00. Here you hear other guests yelling in the hallways past midnight, or even later. Finally, the “kitchen” was horrific. No microwave (the basics), only one burner that didn’t even work, a tiny fridge, one table and one chair for the whole place.
