“Disappointing start and missing wellness amenities, but Kevin and Albenis saved the trip Rating: ⭐⭐⭐”
On the bright side, the staff really stepped up on the second and third days, especially our bartender and servers Kevin and Albenis, who worked hard to make things right. Their attentive, excellent service turned the rest of our stay around. Still, the initial service failures, maintenance problems, and misleading wellness ads earned us only a flat 3 stars. Our stay at Marazao Beach Hotel had its ups and downs. The first day was a huge let‑down with extremely poor service: we waited almost two hours just for a Coca‑Cola and a ginger ale. At lunch, we ordered, but over an hour later the kitchen manager and a front‑desk associate appeared to ask if we wanted to order—showing our food had never even been entered. We also had a low‑pressure toilet issue that the maintenance team didn’t fix on the first visit; I had to record a video to get them to return and resolve it properly. If you’re after a genuine “wellness” hotel, look elsewhere—the place doesn’t offer yoga as advertised, and there are no wellness activities. Vendors keep approaching you right at your beachfront unit, which really breaks the peace and serenity.
