Hotel Fleur de Lys, a renovated castle villa, is surrounded by a garden with a view of the Flemish Polders. The hotel features a seasonal heated outdoor pool, sauna, and sun terrace with exotic palm trees. Characteristic rooms have a minibar, radio, and TV. Located 15 minutes from historic Bruges, it offers a playground, lounge area, and breakfast.

A charming historic hotel with lovely gardens, just a stone's throw from Bruges, the city itself a delight. The bed was supremely comfortable, and the host kindly prepared a generous breakfast early for us as we headed to Calais for the channel crossing. Nothing else to note.

Trap! The entrance line was elegant and decisive, absolutely stunning. The surrounding garden was beautiful. Breakfast was incredibly extensive and festive in a very charming dining room overlooking the garden and pool. The owner waved the scepter in the breakfast room—quite endearing, and we did the same. A terrace let us enjoy the garden and the outdoors. We slept wonderfully on the mattress of the large double bed! The bathroom isn’t new but nostalgic. The welcome and especially the farewell were heartwarming.

Parking was convenient. However, the pool advertised as heated was actually freezing and the heating had been switched off. The building immediately smelled of cigarette smoke upon entry, and the breakfast lacked several advertised items.

Exceptional welcome, open and thoughtful hosts. Absolute calm and comfort in a magnificent setting. The breakfast served at the table was delicious and generous. Thanks again to Nathalie and Marco for their advice on shopping and Bruges visits. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the region. We’ll return gladly. After leaving, we wished we could stay longer.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Fleur de Lys hotel in Zedelgem; the spot was peaceful, the hosts were warm and natural, and we really enjoyed our conversations with them; the artistic décor, relaxing pool, and generous breakfast were all great. Thank you very much!
