“Afrader”
The host tried her best, and the late checkout was a relief. Almost everything disappointed us – it was far too expensive for what we received. The sewage smell was overwhelming, both in our cabin and the “wellness” area. Everything felt rundown, from the cabin to the facilities. We booked for the wellness, but it was hardly a wellness because of the dilapidated state and foul odor. The restaurant was pricey and the food was terrible. We paid extra for a cabin with a kitchen so we could cook, yet there were no pans, glasses, plates, or cutlery. The balcony didn’t match the photo. The shower didn’t work properly. The bed was rock hard. A barking dog was annoying, and the resort was hard to locate.
The accommodation is set in a natural environment with plenty of trees, offering peace, quiet, an indoor pool, sauna, tennis court, basketball, and a small football pitch. The mattress is too soft and the pillows are poor. The bungalows are new, but the craftsmen did a bad job on the bathroom. The tiles in the shower stall are warped.
“Au top !”
This hotel is ideal if you’ve just stayed at Durmitor and want to recover from your efforts. Located a few minutes from Biograd Park, it’s enough on its own – you can stay to admire the views from the top of the bungalow, rest in the sauna, swim in the pool, or eat at the restaurant at affordable prices. Count on €40 for a 30‑minute massage, and only €10 for a laundry service that turns out spotless. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We already miss the morning cuddles with the dog and the kitten at the restaurant. A shepherd dog barked all day and night. We couldn’t figure out why it was locked up or what was happening. Aside from that, many reviews mention the outdated facilities; some things no longer work, especially in the gym where several machines are decades old. But otherwise, we especially appreciated the place’s style, still in its prime and functional for a very accessible price.
The owners are nice and helpful. Everything we needed was there and more. The pool was open (quite deep), there were saunas, a gym, and even a massage chair. The chalet had a nice view of the mountains and the resort area. There was a playground for kids. Breakfast was included. The place is quite old, but everything works. Some things are worn out and need renewal; however, considering the price you pay for the facilities you get, it is cheaper than other resorts of this type, so it’s still a bargain. If you’re looking for stylish Instagram‑ready apartments, this isn’t the choice.
“Noche agradable”
The bungalows felt really cozy and the surrounding area was quiet and pretty, while the included breakfast was excellent with a bit of everything. Getting there was a hassle, though—Google Maps directions were confusing and it took us almost an hour to locate the place, and the spa area looked half‑abandoned.
