Riad AMBER ZAHRA

The Riad is super central and within walking distance of the Medina. On the Ring Road you can always catch a taxi. The house is large and roomy for six people. The pool is also pleasant. All good, would give an 8.5 rating, a great spot for two nights in Marrakesh. The car is parked on the street, but it’s safe there. Will visit again when we’re back in Marrakesh. The grass around the pool could use mowing. Some fixtures in the bathroom could be replaced. The guest bathroom on the ground floor was really unpleasant; the pipes probably need cleaning. We didn’t use it. There are three more bathrooms.

Good location near the Medina, the pool was lovely (even had lots of cats and little tortoises!). A gated area next to it with a few cheap restaurants, shops, and cafés. The woman who owns it is really lovely and everything was super clean :)). She doesn’t speak English well, but that didn’t bother us and she was very accommodating!

The Riad was actually made up of several small houses that were very well kept, very clean and hygienic. Because they’re separate houses, you naturally have little control over who’s inside. We were there with our children and had a night with a lot of noisy guests who felt it necessary to make noise until two a.m. in the pool area. We only saw the lady who received us at check‑in once. She took €50 cash tourist tax, but later we found out we had already paid that through Booking. A bit of a disappointment. The complex is just outside the Medina near Bab Kechich. Taxis and minibuses are everywhere, and for 100 dirhams they’ll happily take you to the center.

The place, the responsiveness to a pool issue—thanks for offering breakfast in compensation, great. The pool was out for one day, quickly fixed.
