The spot is very good in the center of Galle Fort, just a 2‑minute walk to the streets full of shops and restaurants. Dileepa, the owner, welcomes you warmly. The rooms are simple, clean, comfortable with private bathrooms and air‑conditioning. Hot water would be a plus but it’s fine without it.

The hosts were very friendly and pleasant, speaking English well and offering plenty of transport tips for getting there and leaving. The location is excellent, right in the fort and just steps from the walls.

The spot was handy for touring Galle, but the room was smaller than expected and the bathroom could have been cleaner. It faced the street with no double glazing and was right next to the entrance, so the noise was loud. The air conditioning leaked, and the owner was not very pleasant; I found it inappropriate that she explained the house rules to a friend who had only come to pick me up.

A perfect location if you only have a short time in Galle Fort—central but not on a main street. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Nothing fancy, and the water pressure isn’t great (but that’s Asia, right?)) but everything you need is there, even a kettle in the common area downstairs for tea or coffee. There aren’t many rooms, so noise is minimal, but the doors aren’t soundproof.
