The hotel sits right in the heart of Oravský Podzámok, but the owner and manager were rude and uncooperative, refusing to give the guest a phone after repeated calls, emails and phone attempts. The room was noisy at night because it was in a loft and had to be ventilated; the main street was on a main road with constant traffic.

The accommodation is interesting, right under the castle, not luxurious as expected but adequate. The room/apartment was fully equipped and breakfast was good. If it claims a 4‑star rating, it should meet that standard, otherwise it can be misleading.

The view and location are great, with cleanliness, modern photos, and a good vibe. In room 7 the knob drops, the tap moves, and there is no “towel holder” in the bathroom.

The breakfast was absolutely terrible, costing 9€ per person and offering nothing to choose from; the hotel had about 10 hosts and the breakfast for two felt like a waste of money, I do not recommend it, and here's a photo of the breakfast you get and what you can choose.
