Room #404 was excellent and the staff we met were very friendly and professional. We will definitely return to this hotel, even though we have stayed here many times before. The main entrance was hard to spot because of construction.

They kindly upgraded me to a suite and it was beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were delightful. The check‑in reception was lazy and disinterested; the staff just didn’t bother, and that attitude carried over to the suite, with no introduction to the room’s layout. A really poor welcome. My caravan park in Western Australia charges far less, and my managers are better than that.

The new rooms are fantastic—spacious yet still in the Ritz style with a few modern touches. The current dining room, however, falls short of the original’s opulence and ambience, which is understandably disappointing.
