“Very good hotel - hopefully will come back one day”
Everything was fantastic: the dinner, the room, the onsen, and the friendly staff.

The food was great for a seafood lover and beautifully presented, but it was almost entirely fish. Hygiene was very poor! The host was kind, but the reception was a mess. The onsen was even dirty, look at the grill above the sinks! Walls and curtains were unfinished, and there was a lot of dust. I don’t understand why people give it a 9.0; hygiene in a bath area must be good. Breakfast was also just fish.

The food impressed us. Dinner won all beauty and taste contests. The hotel itself was clean and pleasant; it’s a bit of a walk, but worth it. The onsens were clean, though not as fresh as they were decades ago. The staff were perfect and very helpful. A solid 9! The walk was a bit far from public transport and the old onsens, but you can manage and there’s no reason to complain. It was COOL!

Feeling like I’d gone back to the countryside, the staff treated us like family and went the extra mile; because we’re Taiwanese, the menu was specially translated into Chinese, and they helped us move our luggage during check‑in.

The place was quiet, the food delicious, and the service excellent.
