“Decepción resort?”
The surroundings look nice with a pleasant tropical vibe, though there are no rice paddies visible. The property seems to have potential and at first glance the facilities appear very appealing, but in reality it's just a façade. I wouldn't pay that price for the hotel again. What disappointed me was that the reality doesn't match the resort image shown on Booking. Visually it tries to convey that feeling, yet I don't see it as a resort in practice. Services and details expected at this level are missing. We also ran into maintenance issues in the room: the bathtub isn’t firmly fixed to the floor and shifts when you sit on the edge, which is unacceptable for a place presented at this level. Overall, the photos and presentation set expectations that the reality doesn’t meet. Given the price and the Booking advertisement, I expected much more. The hotel should seriously improve maintenance and be more transparent about the actual services and facilities it offers.
“Superbe parenthèse apaisante”
The staff are exceptionally pleasant, especially at the restaurant. The meals are good quality and reasonably priced for a hotel of this standing. The pool, setting, and environment are superb. It’s a bit out of the city center but perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calming atmosphere. Highly recommend. Everything was perfect.
“Prachtig, maar veel kakkerlakken!”
The pool was wonderful, and the restaurant meals were good. The rooms were very nice. The staff are very kind, but not everyone speaks good English. We found cockroaches in the room, even on top of our toothbrush! The room next to ours was being renovated and they started hammering and drilling at 7 am. There’s not much to do in the area. If you want to relax it’s a great spot, but otherwise you’ll have to travel far to see anything.
The hotel and surroundings are gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless, and the breakfast is extra special—overall a very pleasant stay. Nothing negative.
“Hotel Paradisíaco”
Staying in the cabins felt like being in the middle of the jungle—a truly paradisiacal setting. Despite all the vegetation and nightly animal sounds, we didn’t see a single insect inside the rooms or common areas, only a few ants on the outer paths. Heavy rain fell most nights, and watching it from the huge glass walls (three of them) was wonderful. The beds had mosquito nets, so we slept soundly. The pool is beautiful; it lacks many loungers but still enjoyable, and there’s a pool bar for cocktails. Service was excellent everywhere: luggage was taken to our room and brought back to reception on checkout day. The restaurant’s food impressed us, with a breakfast buffet where they prepared pho, eggs, omelets or pancakes to order, and à‑la‑carte lunch and dinner. Meat dishes were pricey for Vietnam, but the vegetarian options were reasonably priced; we dined for about 350 000 dong for two people each night. There’s also a pub with drinks, though the alcohol was quite expensive. Overall we loved it and had a fantastic stay. The area is fairly remote and the internet doesn’t work, so you’ll need to rely on pricey private taxis. Some wooden doors and windows don’t fit perfectly, leaving gaps, yet we still saw no insects inside. Because the cabins are wooden they aren’t fully sound‑proof, so you can hear the upstairs neighbours, but that didn’t bother us since we booked both cabins.
