The staff were very welcoming, especially the friendly lady at reception. The evening meal was good. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. However, the breakfast plates had dried food on them, so they weren’t properly washed, and the music at breakfast was unnecessarily loud.

The location was perfect for our needs, and check‑in was straightforward with friendly staff. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. If I had to nitpick, the curtains could be thicker because the port lights were extremely bright.

The layout is quirky but well organized. It isn’t actually a pub, although spirits and bottled beer are available.

The location was convenient and the staff were mostly friendly, and breakfast was nice. The downside was that I had to step down three stairs in the hallway to reach the bathroom, there was no water in the room, and the fridge freezer didn’t freeze my bottle of water over two days. On the second night, a banging from the room next to mine kept going until almost 3 a.m.; I wasn’t sure what kind of room it was, probably not a guest room. I tried to call the manager but nobody was on site, and I never managed to reach anyone to find out what was causing the noise, so the night was mostly miserable.
