“J'adore, Casa del Artista”
The place is really beautiful, the décor and paintings show the host’s artistic side ☺️, the rooms are very spacious, and the beach is close by 😉. A small microwave would have been nice.

I liked the room – it was spacious, beautiful, with art and games that are useful for groups. The location is convenient: a 10‑minute walk to Chandarana, a 5‑minute walk to the beach, and it’s quiet. Everything was lovely so far, and I’d recommend it. I stayed for 3 days but ended up extending my stay.

There were no positives. The few good points: the owner is very nice and welcoming. I arrived at night and she gave me a tour. The two‑bedroom apartment is decorated with art. I booked last minute and was misled by the excellent reviews, which I still can’t understand. It hurts to leave this comment, but I feel I must share my experience. The downsides are numerous. The apartment sits on a second or third parallel street to the main road. It is completely dark and deserted in the evening, not welcoming or reassuring when you arrive alone. The housing itself: I booked the two‑bedroom apartment on the first floor. The owners were kind enough to help me move my bags up and down the steep, narrow stairs. The apartment has a separate bedroom leading to the bathroom, and another double bed in a very large living room. The kitchen is very rundown, dirty, and infested with ants and cockroaches – just like the rest of the apartment. Food isn’t stored well, and the countertop looked so bad that I didn’t even think about putting a single food item on it. I booked this place hoping to cook simple meals like pasta, but I had to run out to get something to eat, which is hard because kitchens usually close around 8.40 pm at the latest. On top of hygiene problems, there are two dogs right outside the window. They barked several times at night, so I couldn’t sleep much. Also, there was no hot water and the water pressure was low. The landlady offered to move me to a smaller studio that had hot water, or to use the studio just for showering since no one was staying there that night – a nice gesture. However, I chose not to use that place because it looked very dirty and unwelcoming, full of large ants everywhere, small cockroaches, and overall rundown. All in all, I would definitely not return to this place.

The host, Damine, was really helpful and made our stay so easy. The apartment has a huge amount of space, making it very comfortable. It is also in a great location in central Diana, about a 5‑minute walk from the beach and near restaurants. No issues.

Damine, the host, was very pleasant with us from the start. She advised us and gave recommendations about the area. Her house is very pretty and located in a safe area, close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. From the patio of her house, several species of monkeys could be seen in the trees 🤩. Nothing.
