The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. There was a toaster for us to cook our toast for breakfast, but no plates or knife to spread our butter and Vegemite.

They seem to be trying to update the rooms, I think, but there is still room to improve. The location is fine, but the room had a lot of flies because the cleaners left the rooms wide open, including the screen door, during cleaning, letting flies in.

I stayed on a Monday, the pub was closed but the accommodation was still open, and the room was secure, spotless, and had freshly laundered sheets and a comfy bed. The staff were welcoming and delightful, making it a no‑frills, comfortable stay.
