The staff were very friendly, but there were a lot of spider webs in the room.
The view of the Rhine and the location are great, but the equipment feels very old; the toilet flush is broken, water doesn’t drain in the shower, the sheets and towels smell musty, and the mattress is too soft.
“Goed voor 1 overnachting”
The rooms were nice, but the menu options were limited. We couldn’t get coffee after dinner at 30:00, and the staff was too thin.
The room was noisy with spiders and webs, and I personally caught and removed at least 10 spiders; the breakfast, priced at 18€ per person, was very sparse.
The hotel’s location is good and fairly quiet. We were surprised by how old the building felt; it seemed we got the worst, smallest room. Cleaning was mediocre—spider webs and dead insects were present, and the mattress sheet was turned the wrong way. The first‑floor windows were new, but the surrounding walls had cracks from recent renovations. Luckily we only stayed one night, and the hotel only accepts cash, which is a shame that the booking site didn’t mention.
